  3. Silver Willie's your post content is exactly what I was searching for. I started to collect coins for my 2 children to add to the collection I inherited from my ancestors. I purchased some of the 1st distro of the trump coins and just received notice of the new "peace" coin. I have been searching the web to find out if 45 Hats is a legitimate us mint dealer however cannot find any info until I came across this forum. So can I safely assume based on your comment these won't have any value when purchasing coins to add to my kids collection?

    • Thank you for Providing me the answer I have been looking for on the Web for hours. So I should remove myself from 45 hats email subscription because nothing they produce will become anything of value? I am new to this just looking to add to a collection from my ancestors for my 2 children.

If its thru the U.S. Mint I would buy. I'll pass.

I first must admit I'm not that familiar with this 45 Hats outfit, but after just a quick scan through their homepage it's probably very safe to say that future value shouldn't be a consideration if buying their products. If you like the novelty factor there's nothing wrong with it, but there's unlikely to be any real future collector's market for them.

    • Thank you for clarifying. Only looking for items that will have value. I am glad I purchased the Presidential coins solely based on the fact I ruffled a few family members feathers when I gave them as a Christmas gift to a select few. LOL

Nothing wrong with ruffling a feathers every not and then. ;)

That said, it's not as easy as it looks to acquire coins that will only increase in value. Sadly, I've had the unfortunate experience of meeting with many folks over the years who thought they were doing just that and very rarely did it work out as planned. To be clear I'm certainly not saying it cannot be done, but only that there's usually more to it than simply buying and setting aside.

Generally speaking, knowledge is the key to your goal, so the more you can acquire the better your chances will be. Please do stick around and don't be afraid to ask questions, but always try to verify whatever you're told.

    Welcome to the forum, mommystacking.

That coin is almost as tacky as this:

At least there is no questioning the "hair" on that chia is all natural, which is more than I can say about Trumps allegedly "real" hair.

I never understood the urge to buy current presidential memorabilia. Never bought any for Clinton, Bush, or Obama, and I certainly won't be purchasing any for Trump.

Only if the Coin is titled "Agent Orange!".

Call me crazy, but I'd take fake hair over fake history any day.
