1924 Standing Liberty Quarter ~~ Grade Opinions

    Here is a decent 1924 Standing Liberty Quarter. What grade would you put on the flip? Thanks for looking.

    Nice coin, Id call it XF. These coins are one of my favorites, but Im sad to say I dont have very many.

    VF30 and that might be stretching it. I'm concerned about the reverse's lack of detail.

    Those surfaces look funky.
    Like Clem said, that reverse is scary.
    Almost looks like cast bubbles around "Of America".
    I hope they're not.

    BTW... I'm a dolt at grading these, so I'll abstain.

    I think VF-25 on this one. That front leg looks pretty flat and not from strike, IMHO.

    Has the head been repaired ?
    There seems to be an odd line running up from her neckline, making her face look like a mask.

    Not hammering you here, Bone.
    Just trying to learn.
    I don't know a lot about these.

    No, I've been putting the setting on automatic for about the past week or so. The pictures come out looking better than when it was on manual. Still learning how to operate that darn thing... Sony Mavica FD-91.
