1944 D Mercury Dime for grading

    These pics are more evenly lit than the Morgan, but they are out of focus.

    However, this coin appears to be quite clean, and well struck. Given what I see, I'm going to wager 67 FSB, but new pics may change that. The bottom of the vertical bands may have some weakness, so it may only be FB (PCGS), not FSB (NGC).

    I would expect most posters here have at least some sort of smartphone (I don't), but these pictures are significantly better than many we see.

    I am a little bit leery of the top two bands. Looks pretty mark free. definitely Gem.

    I would give it a 66FB at both PCGS and NGC. I think NGC now uses FB also. As Larry said, if the luster is good it could go 67. I've seen more questionable bands than this one get the designation in both holders.

    Certainly no less than 66 and making a strong argument for 67. FSB, I think so...
