1989 Penny

    Is this a 1989 error coin and if so, is it worth anything? There is an extra ridge on the right side and the 9 did not stamp.

    It was struck with a very worn Die.. nothing really major
    only worth 1 Cent

    I have a 1859-1909 penny that the back side is very good, but the front needs cleaning of some sort to tell the exact date. What is the best way to clean it even just enough to determine the exact date?
