I had a Volusian Antioch tet a few years ago but parted with it. A while ago I acquired this particular one since it was very cheap and actually a fairly scarce type, Prieur 698. Only found a few online. It was in a NGC slab, "AU", but no murdered slab photos will be shared to spare all younger children the gruesome photos. Volusian (251 - 253 A.D.) Great coin @Mat - I'll post one from Elagabalus... This is one I need to re-photograph one of these days as the obverse is slightly out of focus. Ex-Frank Robinson auction.
That’s a really attractive coin @Mat. I have been to under bidder in a few auctions recently for some tets of SSev. I have the glimmer of hope because I am the first bidder only to be blown out of the water the day of the auction. That reverse legend, what does it translate to? It looks like there should be a Seleukos or something there but the letters don’t match up.
