    That's what I was thinking. I see the kind of worn "G/U/Y" top/right (6 years) and then the "II" below that (+2 years).

    I wouldn't think it is terribly rare at all. Maybe specifically desirable to someone collecting all years/mints of the Justin II & Sophia Half Follis types.
