Oldest coin yet!!! Just wanted to share first a 1939 Jefferson nickel an this 1919 wheat penny

    Your nickel if memory serves me was the first year for the Jefferson it replaced the Buffalo nickel, I like your 1919 nice circulation finds. IMO

    Close, but no cigar. There were Jefferson nickels struck in 1938. Both Buffalo and Jefferson types were struck that year.

    Nice finds indeed, if those came out of circulation. But why's this in the "Errors" forum? These aren't errors. If they're circ finds, this should probably be in the Coin Roll Hunting forum.

    PS- where's the reverse picture of the 1939 nickel? If there's a mintmark on the reverse, so much the better. The 1939-D is one of the nicer dates to have.
