Welcome to CoinTalk! It's been plated. Shiny mirror like appearance tells me that. Worth face value, unfortunately.
I'm wondering can anyone tell me if this is a error coin or did someone is playing around I found this 1963 penny with some type of object embedded into it? What say You? Here are soe photo's This is exactly how I found it.
It's best to start your own thread to get the most views, this one is five years old. Your coin is damaged, someone cut into it with something like wire cutters.
As stated, this thread is old and you need to create a new thread to get lots of feedback. It’s damaged as there is nothing at the mint that would produce this affect. The marks on the obverse are exactly alike on the reverse as someone damaged it with a tool used to cut metal. And welcome to CT.
Damaged. Altered with metal snips. Not a mint error of any kind. Please start your own new separate thread in the future. Choose a Forum such as Error Coins. Look for a blue toned button to click on labeled Post New Thread.
