My boyfriend found these in his bank roll and we are wanting to know your thoughts about the condition. I see there is some yellow toning coming through or so to speak. As I mentioned in my previous post, I am NEW at this. So I am learning as I go.

    Thanks.

Nice looking coins to put in a collectors album but not very valuable. IMHO probably retails for about 25 cents each.

Thank you guys, I will let him know.
I just started and I bought a $140 in half dollars got a few 40% and one 1943 walking liberty. I also found a few silver dimes a few war time nickels as well as a 1943 steel penny altho to me is very common, I also got a 1891 v nickel from a bank roll..That got me really into this.

Right now I am using non pvc plastic bags for like copper, the silver and the really old ones, I have them in the 2x2 flips... If there is something that will protect my really good copper pennies that are almost uncirculated please let me know
    Thanks.

To answer your query on the condition...

Both coins appear to be in incredibly good condition for being found in a roll. The '71-D looks MS64/obverse, contact marks bring the reverse down to MS62 (or so). The '75-D has noticeable contact marks on the cheek, guess at MS62.. and the reverse has a contact mark on the #2 column, numerous on the steps and a scuff below that...guess at MS61.

These look like coins that have been squirreled away but recently returned to circulation...the fields on both coins are extremely clean and clear. No, they won't make you rich, but I would be proud to show these 2 off! Very nice!...Spark

I don't think he's looking to see those, well at least that is what he told me lol.
I live in Iowa, and I was shocked to find what we did, people here love to hoarder coins. So if you want a good one you need to go to a coin collector. I will let him know what you said I told him they would be in a MS but just below MS65, which is really fine by me. I do have more coins I will post later for more expert advice.
    Thank you so much.
