    Reverse: KOINON MAKEDONWN Ares standing left holding spear and wreath
    Moushmov: -, Sear -, Lindgren -, BMC - ???

    It's not in Gaebler (AMNG III) either, for what that's worth.

    Don't forget that coins of Marcus Aurelius from Koinon Macedon can bear the obverse inscription ΚΑΙCΑΡ ΑΝΤѠΝЄΙΝΟC.

    I don't know any references (haven't looked) but it's a beautiful coin! It's one of those that begs to be touched :)

    The only ones with the same reverse image are from Thrace on acsearch anyway.

    Hmmm. There's this and this, which I believe to be your coin, but it's not in any major reference, it seems.

    Thanks RC- So the deal is it is not a spear the figure is holding on the reverse and it is uncertain who it is.
