Do you have a picture of the coin in the slab?

Well unfortunately I don't . Because coin A. is actually a picture of a coin taken from the PCGS website that sold at Heritage auctions . And coin B. is actually a coin that I discovered a few days ago But I just chose not to say anything about either of the two coins in an effort to seek unbiased and honest opinions as to what people actually thought about the two coins in question :angelic:

Well since it seems like the votes actually speak for itself and PCGS and Heritage auctions are the only real deciding factor of this very amazing and scarce coin ... then I guess I'll allow them to be the judge and i will keep the two of YOU posted on this wonderful find Cheech9712 . LOL . But in the meantime . Please be sure to keep searching and always ignore those negative people who obviously can't bare to tell other coin enthusiast when they have nice finds . LOL

Unfortunately, I knew exactly what you were doing, so I chose to refrain from voting. Usually, in cases like this, the OP finds a high-grade coin that is extremely low-end for the grade, find a coin that is better, and thus tries to conclude that their coin is far superior to the high-grade coin. That is not how grading works. I don’t think you happened to notice that the two MS-66+ RD examples on the PCGS CoinFacts website were superior to the MS-67. Funny, huh? Welcome to the realm of overgraded coins.

Check out this NGC MS-67 RD from Heritage. Notice how it is superior to both of the coins in the OP.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

“Extremely low end for the grade”. Elegantly put. In this case, it’s NOT the grade, period. I don’t care WHAT some three grader panel at PCGS said once upon a time. The more I look at PCGS-graded coins, the LESS impressed I get with them.

That’s just more evidence that we are the hypocrite hobby. We say “buy the coin, not the slab”, but then do the opposite.

It would be wise for you to listen to all opinions. Most that know what they are doing will tell you that PCGS messed up on the first coin. It has great luster but the hits and spots should have held it back from a 67 holder. Granted, some of the marks on the coin are chatter that the strike did not remove.

The images of your coin do not show the luster needed to receive a grade of 67.
Over time you will learn that the jump from 66 to 67 is giant with PCGS. Not so much with NGC.

I was meaning no harm. We all picked coin 2. When in all reaality coin 1 is certified as a great coin. I'm very glad at your dicovery. Lets be honest. Nobody guess MS67 because there is only so few. But it is what it is. I'm hhoping your 2 coin is MS68. stll think your #2. Is the better coin. Great find

Well first of all I really do appreciate all the mature and honest opinions but as for as the rest of these other responses I think that alot of you guys should really be ashamed of yourselves for attacking the credibility of the PCGS ... Because It sounds like a bunch of whinny and very immature kids in here who wish they could take back their answers now that it's apparent where these two coins actually came from and whos coin was actually chosen to be in better condition out of the two coins ... Infact if this is what being a part of coin talk is really all about then i guess id rather just focus on the money involved in dealing with coins rather then focusing on making it a hobby because it seems like theres way too many ego driven hypocrites in these groups who cant stand to give other people their due credit if they have really great finds . Because lets face it . The bottom line here is . Up until anyone knew where these two coins actually came from there was absolutely nothing negative to be said about the coins until then ... But now we have people ... correction imI'sorry we have children attacking the credibility of PCGS Professional grading company which says alot about coin talk and this hobby . Smh

It's clear that you don't understand PCGS, this hobby or this site. If you hang out here for a while you will get a better understanding of what is being said. We have fun here but the answers are honest. Wrong information gets corrected.

Lets get back on topic. Please post proper images of your coin. That's the only way you will get answers that are helpful. From what you have posted up to this point, your coin would grade anywhere from AU to MS-64. I hope you can prove me wrong with better images.

I find most members as honest as the day is long. Don't believe there was any sour grapes what so ever. Hang around a little while and you'll see. Remember. We all chose the B or #2 coin. Think about it. This ain't their first rodeo. Once again. Great coin

Nothing wrong with that. There are many in this hobby with that same opinion.

Well since some people were asking for better photos I thought I'd be a good sport and share a few more photos before I move on with this boring coin . And hopefully. PCGS will not make the same mistake twice and give it too high of a grade like they did the other coin . LOL

Can't tell much about the grade from the images but it looks to have a lot of machine doubling. Cool coin.

Lol ... I thought machine doubling was supposed to be very Flat and shelf like not Round and Raised ? And all the devices that I posted photos of have nice raised doubling like that letter S in the word trust :banhappy:
