WOW!! That one flew right over my head guys! Thanks for getting me back on the sarcasm track as I love it so. Here's a bunch of smilies and winkies. clembo
Original SNGA Thread I thought I had started a thread on this before and I was brought back by a recent post. Seems my sarcasm was rather sharp that day. I feel bad ---- I'll get over it. Here's the thread. http://www.cointalk.org/showthread.php?p=315094#post315094 clembo PS I'm cancelling my SNGA slab experiment.
First we owe kudos to Silver Striker. Did not intend to hijack your thread. My original got next to no response whereas yours is cooking! Good job! Sooo... I have pretty much closed my mind at this point even though I state "a closed mind is no mind". That should speak volumes. Googled SNGS grading and here's the first thing that came up. http://reviews.ebay.com/SNGA-GRADING_W0QQugidZ10000000004757570 Shall we inform this person why he/she is wrong? I'm up for it. clembo Ok, Did a bit of digging on the peron in the link. Not selling right now and location is (drum roll please) ........ CHINA! Well known for reputable sellers of course.
SCAM...... SCAM Return policy states SCAM item must be received back within 10 days of SCAM AUCTION END, they can simply SCAM delay shipping...I have seen this scam SCAM before SCAM SCAM 15% Restocking SCAM fee SCAM Bill, what is your connection to these obvious crooked scammers may I ask? Silver Stryker, Thanks for another good job well done, and keep it up !!!!!
Take a look at the sample slab: MS-65 PL Morgan dollar! If that is a 65 or even PL, then all of the other grading services need to go back to school!
I am simply a customer of Blue-Creek-Coins. I like what they sell and have not felt that I was scamed by them. I asked them about SNGA and and they referred me to sngrading.com. There on their opening web-page is a styatement that any SNGA graded coin may be returned to the seller for up to 30 days after the auction ends, thats more than enough time to return a coin you think is over-graded, and I believe it's more than any other eBay coin dealer allows. As for delivey time all you need to do is look at their feedback and note that most of their customers say they received their coins quickly. I know I did too, ususally 3 to 4 days after the auction ends. Now if you can't make up your mind within 10 minutes of receiving a coin whether you want to keep it or return it, then you are the one that needs help, Not SNGA.
Only a person with the mental capacities of a 4 year old could jump to the conclusuions that SNGA is in CHINA. I challenge you to prove your claim or withdraw it. When I submit my coins for grading I send them to a PO box in Monetvallo, AL and I usually get them back in about a week. That's not enough time to go to China and back. So prove it or disprove your IQ is lower than a gnats.
What you just posted doesn't in any way address the point that their grading appears to be extremely liberal. For your own best interest I'd suggest showing some of your SNGA coins to knowledgeable dealers and seeing what they think about the grading. Better yet, crack out a few of the coins and submit them to NGC or PCGS and see how they get graded, compared to the SNGA grades. I bet it would be an eye-opening experience, though perhaps one you prefer not to face.
If you look at Blue creek Coins site they offer two coins for sale, one grade by NGC and one graded by PCGS. The PCGS coin doesn't match the date on the PCGS label. The NGC coin is graded a MS61 and should be graded a VF35 in my opinion. Why should I waist my time and my money sending any coin to either of the over-rated thieves when the the top-notch grading company can't even get the right coin in the right slab?
Suit yourself, but I believe that you don't want to face the truth about the coins you're buying. Please show us a link to the NGC MS61 coin you're speaking of? Thanks.
I'm not handy with computers but here are the eBay Item numbers you can do a search on: PCGS coin: 230152279008 NGC Coin: 230157044914
With respect to the NGC coin below, you seem to have fallen badly for the seller's propaganda, which, by the way, is self serving, considering his game. If you think that coin grades VF or even XF, you need considerable help with your grading - seriously. And the fcat that PCGS mislabeled the date of the other listing you noted, has nothing to do with their grading abilities or the fact that SNGA grades extremely liberally.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230157044914&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fws%2Fsearch%2FSaleSearch%3Fsofocus%3Dbs%26satitle%3D230157044914%26sacat%3D-1%2526catref%253DC5%26dfsp%3D1%26_trksid%3Dm37%26from%3DR7%26nojspr%3Dy%26pfid%3D0%26fsop%3D1%2526fsoo%253D1%26fcl%3D3%26frpp%3D200%26fvi%3D1
And what pretell are your creditials for knowledgable coin grading? I suppose you're going to try and convince me that the NGC coin is just a weak strike. Bull****! If SNGA labeled this coin MS61 then all of you know-it-alls would be jumping all over them again abput their poor grading skills.
