    our pawn shop wants $50 for a common date VG/F Morgan....

    guess he hasn't checked spot prices since 2011....

    Yes. In a heartbeat. I would have bought it and then looked over my shoulders thinking I was being watched as the whole thing was some sort of gag. You know, "Smile! You're on Candid Camera!" Great find.

    You should take in some problem examples and see what their buy price is.

    I expect pawn shops to do a 100% markup on silver coins (i.e. buy at 60% of spot, sell at 120%). If I found a shop that was buying at 200% (or even 150%) and selling at 400%, well, let's just say I have a good bit of stuff I'd be willing to part with...

    That's a fantastic buy! It could cost you that much just to get it graded and slabbed. Grey sheet shows it at $115.
