Just started up again Roll Coin hunting for pennies. I was out of commission for awhile with a broken foot. Anyway I had a box of pennies that were half check and started it back up. On the forth roll I found this 1922 D penny. It did make my day. I think it would grade out at VF25? About $25 to $30? 20180801_160937.jpg 20180801_161002.jpg 20180801_160937.jpg 20180801_161002.jpg

Went to a couple BOAs today. The first one had $90 in halves; it ended up being $94 (the rolls had 6 extra halves as well as a Susan B Anthony dollar). On the last roll I saw a 1968-D ender; that roll had 4x40% silvers. At the second BOA, they had a box of dimes to spare, which yielded 3 silvers including a 1949-D. There were also 2 loose dimes rolling around in the box. 7 silver coins today along with an extra $4.20 in clad

Haven't posted in a whole because I haven't been CRHing. I did my bank rounds today as I was off from work with a "sick" day, and one Chase had 3 boxes of Brinks halves for some reason. I took 2, went home and found 8 silvers and a bunch of NIFCs, so went back and bought the other one as well. Also set up a relationship with the head teller there and she told me they order twice a week and she could have me two more boxes on Saturday. I just completed all three boxes. Here are the results:

    3 90%
    17 40%
    83-S Proof
    73-S impaired Proof
    26 NIFCs 2002-2017 (still haven't found a 2018)
    1972-D No FG
1996-D Brett Favre MVP (that I will probably throw back)
3 possible magic coins (the sides look to be split...all came from the same box)
Also pulled about 40 1974-Ds that I have to check for DDOs with my new 30x loupe

I picked up my weekly 2 box order of halves from my favorite head teller yesterday. She told me she will be on vacation the next 3 weeks, and “Patrick” (the only silver sniping teller at this branch) will be ordering. I thought to myself: great, now Patrick will be opening my boxes to “count the rolls to ensure there are 50 in the box” while also removing any ender rolls.

Anyway, I told my favorite head teller I will be out of state the next two weeks, so please order 2 boxes and hold them for me until I return. She said she would.

The head teller then asks Patrick to carry the two boxes of halves from the vault to the counter. Patrick is carrying them and exclaims, “Why do you do this to yourself!” I answer that I like the workout (Patrick is overweight, and I’m not).

Patrick then pipes up, “Found anything yet? What are you looking for?” I told him I had found a few keepers, which were older than 1970, or newer than 2002. Patrick announced he would keep an eye out for me.

    I won’t hold my breath.

HH all, and may you avoid the silver sniping tellers

@Sam Carter, the BTW commem is also remarkable! I have found only 1 silver commem while hunting, and it was a "common" 1982 GW.

They don't pop up regularly, over the years I have found a 1893 Columbian Expo, Stone Mountain, two GW Carver/BTWashingtons and a 1982 GW. I actually missed it when searching and the Coinstar at the CreditUnion spit it out!:nailbiting:

Got 4 boxes of dimes from a different BOA today. Produced 3 silvers (1964, 1957-D, and 1964-D). Wanted to find 100 silver coins for the summer (June-August), these 3 dimes got me to my goal of 100. I also hunted a box of nickels. The best finds were a dateless buffalo and a 1940-D

Did you try buying your best previous bank coffee and donuts? Who knows, a little incentive might work wonders....

Oh yeah, they got donuts, candy, all kinds of stuff. They were awesome. Upper management is the problem.

Corporate scumbags!!! Well hopefully you find a new hook up sooner than later. I just got a new hook up with Brinks boxes here which, so far, seem to be the best variety and silver producing boxes.
