Or a lack thereof. I know these coins aren't collecting worthy more bullion value but who tapes coins on a sheet of paper. I got them for less than melt and the person selling them doesn't deal in coins so I'm going to give them a pass but will msg them to let them know in the future do not tape coins lol.
Any residue from the tape will come off with a quick dip in acetone. I wouldn't suggest this type of packaging on an uncirculated coin. But in this case it is easily remedied.
I know that's why I won't leave a neg for this person but suggest to him in future he probably shouldn't send coins like this especially if it's higher end coins.
Your right it is just junk silver and I'm glad I got it with no problems but even if it is junk silver or a low value item it's not wise to tape it to a piece of paper and mail it. Maybe it's just me but even if I am selling a low value item I like to make sure it's packed well. You don't have to spend money to do it either I use old bubble envelops cut them in squares and tape the coin inside then I use cardboard beer flats cut them and tape the coins in between, cost to mail is 71 cents and all you are out is tape. I am not going to make a big deal out of it but we all know there are a lot of people that would even with a low value item.
