If they did a Nevada coin, Frank Sinatra singing with a slot machine and a hooker in the background. Seriously, I like the Wright brothers for Ohio.

Actually Ford was a Jew hater, not an anti semite. I do see where you are going with your sentiment though.

Well, whatever they choose, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Joisey, and Georgia need to get to it. The new year is coming fast.

Invented in Connecticut I believe, or at least by a CT native. First used in New York.

Did you notice how when they went with dollar coins, they also went with 4 per year? Yeah. I'm thinking the Mint's so-called "lenses" will not need a redesign.

I like theme parks for California. Put the mouse on the dollar.

Well, they do have the copyright (currently) until 2023 from what I understand. So maybe not the mouse. But Theme Parks would still be able to be represented.

I think California seriously needs to consider Jobs and Woz. Washington can forget Gates, unless the innovation is legalized larceny.

I just got it through the grapevine that Pennsylvania is seriously thinking Jonas Salk, for the polio vaccine at Pittsburgh.

I had Pennsylvania pegged for cow pie bingo.

Does anyone know the rules here? Does the inventor have to be born in a state for the state to use it? Does his/her invention have to be created in said state? What about, for example, Ben Franklin? A couple states could take credit for him or none at all. What are the rules?

That is the arena where my high school team played for the state championship in basketball. Team was led by now NBA Executive Stu Jackson.

It's supposed to honor an innovaTION, so I'm thinking where the innovating was done, not where they were potty trained.

Good choices. But against the rules: "Neither the bust of any person nor the portrait of any living person may be included in the design of the coins."
