Big fan of Maiden myself. Those guys are still filling stadiums worldwide.

Great provenance @Marsyas Mike totally unique.

Thank you all for your kind responses to my "frat boy" didrachm (or nomos, or whatever it was called). I certainly left +++ feedback for this seller - I was quite pleased to get this paperwork (and I will keep it with the coin for sure).

I'm afraid I wasn't much of a metal head back in the day - although I did like ACDC and, later on, Guns n' Roses & Nirvana. In the dorm I was into what used to be called "college radio" - REM, Talking Heads, 10000 Maniacs, Violent Femmes, etc. This may explain why the fraternities were disinclined to "rush" me.

I missed out seeing them a couple of years ago, I regret not going. There is a documentary somewhere, Bruce who was a British Airlines pilot some years back flew the plane for their worldwide tour at the time.

Anyway, as for OP coins, I once had a Vlasto plate coin.

I was quite the metal head in high school (90s), but for some reason never got into Iron Maiden- even though I loved bands like Black Sabbath, etc. It wasn’t until recently (last 5 years or so) that I started to listen to them because my brother started to. They are phenomenal. I went to my first show last year. Even though I feel like I’ve outgrown concerts (although now I can actually afford food and beer), I had a blast. I’m angry at my high school self for not listening to them sooner.

I have to "qualify" my experience in a Frat. I was there for only a year, soaked in all the experiences, was penalized more than 15 yards (USA NFL slang) for my grades, etc. Unfortunately for THEM, I was way too much of a Rebel and independent thinker that I drove THEM nuts with my way of doing things. Nope, I did not follow Frat rules, etc. They used to hang a "Happy Apple" (an onion) around our necks. If you goofed up, you had to take a full BITE out of it. I just replaced mine with a sweet white Vidalia and loved every bite! :) Even won their "Best Pledge Award", but still knew how to skirt around the edge of all the silly frat rules. When I had enough, both sides knew this was not my "thing", cuz I was too much of a rebel.

    Speaking of a Rebel...

If you haven’t already, check out the documentary @Ken Dorney mentioned. It’s really cool to watch Bruce Dickenson and the guys put on a great show at a concert then fly the Boeing 757.

@Ken Dorney, I'm glad to see you posting.

I understand from @Pishpash and from your Vcoins contact info that you are likely near the horrendous Carr fire in Redding, CA. How are things looking for your home and family and friends? Do you know yet if you'll have to evacuate? How frightening. I hope the winds shift.

Yes, the fire is about 2-3 miles from my house. So far it hasnt shifted our way today, but all can change. Evacuations are in place near (just a couple streets over) but I'm hoping for the best. One of our friends has already lost their home. Its a pretty devastating fire, and looks like it may get worse.

500 homes and buildings burned down so far. The ash is falling from the sky like snow and earlier when it was light everything was orange. Looks downright apocalyptic.

Yikes, be safe. Hope the danger disappears quickly.
