How about a bit of a toss up...how much did I spend to collect all 7 of these 1961 Proof Franklins?

From top left corner to bottom left corner, we have:
Blanchard PR 65
Tulving PR 64
NTC PR 64 CAM
Anacs PR 65 DCAM
PCGS PR 67
NGC PR 68 CAM
Hallmark PR 64

Some info: the Anacs DCAM was bought raw and sent in to Anacs, the NGC originally was bought without a CAC sticker, and all of these were purchased within the last 5 years.

 

Wow! That's quite a variety of 1961 proof Franklins - could you post the backsides, and what is happening with Franklin's head on the NTC PR64 Cam? It looks like a thread got stuck to his head.

As for the NTC Franklin, my best guess based on some posts seems like it’s discoloration (toning that isn’t quite attractive) from the original packaging (maybe that is where the plastic ripped open).

Just cost of what I spent on the holders (that cost likely includes shipping that was built into the price by various eBay sellers); no shipping to CAC for the NGC (but we can add on the cost of grading for the Anacs, which was around $12).

 

I'll guess that the NGC Proof 68 cost about twice as much as all the others combined, and the total is $445.00.

You got a mighty fine deal on that NGC @ $122.09! How much was the CAC sticker fee?

 

Thanks! I was surprised that it ended that low at the time (this was in 2013).

CAC now charges $14.50 per coin. I believe this one was sent in before the increase, when the fee was still $13.50 (note: this cost wasn't included in my total).
