I've never seen this so I am DYING of curiosity to see what is done, how it is done, and how well it is done.

Hmmm. Team Maple Leaf does indeed look formidable!

On the bright side if this tournament falls flat I now know who to blame...

Well, since Minnesota is basically part of Canada, you're absolutely right! ;)

Not sure about how many people here will support my entry as there are not many frenchies around, but, anyway, I've just sent my copy to the boss (aka @Curtisimo) : Alea Jacta Est !!

Good luck to everyone participating and many thanks to those who cheer for us all

Well, your team won the World Cup! Last time my German team won its fourth title. However, they played awfull this time. In coins, German States are my best (120 AV coins) however, France/ feudal states are not far behind (67 examples:happy:)

I am at a bit of a disadvantage, since 70 percent of my collection is from 1500-1945:(

Does that mean I'm an honorary Cannuck? That'd be ok, eh?

Okay everyone today is the big day! In a few hours I will post the first two match-ups and we will be able to officially say that CIT 2018 is underway! Below is the bracket and updated details

    2018 CIT Bracket
    Bracket-1.jpg

The only major change so far is that our friend @lordmarcovan is being overworked and underappreciated as everyone's favorite neighborhood night moderator  and so @dougsmit has graciously offered to step in as our first alternate! Thank you for the help Doug!

Watch for the first two match-ups later today :D:wideyed::woot:

    To the Spectators

For those of you familiar with how March Madness works, you are fully aware that trying to predict the bracket breakdown can be fun and challenging. I invite anyone who wants to try and predict the "perfect bracket". There is no prize for it or anything and the mathematical odds are insane but might be fun at the end of the tourney to see if anyone guessed correctly a high percentage of the time.

    Stay tuned...
