I've been working on my US Type Set for 15-20 years. It is based on the NGC 1792-1964 Registry Type Set. I'm DON'T include the 1792 Half Disme nor a Gobrecht Dollar. That leaves me with 96 coins. The 1793 Half Dime I got at the June Baltimore Whitman Show brought my count up to 93; three coins to go for completion. The three coins I'm missing are: -- 1796 or 1797 Draped Bust Dime/Small Eagle Reverse -- 1796 Draped Bust Quarter/Small Eagle Reverse -- 1796 or 1797 Draped Bust Half Dollar/Small Eagle Reverse Now the good news and bad news. The good news is that I can probably afford the dime in F or VF. The bad news is that the quarter and half dollar are highly unlikely to be affordable in a grade and condition acceptable to me (at least VG with original surfaces).
the good news is....you can eat cup of noodles chicken flavor for a week and buy/afford a nice grade coin. lol. This is based on a true story.
