    I can read onticello and the steps are clear. Reverse is about VF+

    I think the reverse is much higher than VF.
    At least XF and probably AU.
    The obverse is great.
    What causes brockage and the lack of details? Are you going to make me use Google?

    Could be, but I'm no expert. Just pointing out the similarity. Mine is a cent, not a Jefferson, but it looks very similar in appearance. But I'm not sure about what appears to be Monticello on it.
    Paddyman98 is a bit of an expert on error coins, so he could be correct.
    Someone with more knowledge of capped die's needs to chime in.

    I believe the proper term would be struck thru late stage capped die.
