Maybe he's weeding out the wannabees, serious buyers will surely email for details. Looks to me like a complete set of slabbers.

 That has to qualify as one weird auction. Did you request a list from him? For all we know, the 5 that are graded by NNC are: 1909 S VDB, 1909 S, 1914 D, 1931 S, 1926 S supposed MS. That's what I'm getting from it, but I could be wrong. We don't even know if the keys are in there. But for $40 grand, I'd want my 09 S VDB graded by NGC and a MS 65 R, along with the 14 D. ;)

Read a little closer. A complete set of Lincolns is about 280 coins. He is selling 533 slabs of "DOUBLE DIEs, ERRORs, and RPMs". I doubt that there is an S VDB in the lot.

Only 3 feedback as a seller - all too old to see what he sold.

His 4 recent feedback as a buyer add up to just over a hundred bucks!

I have just two words for him - Pho Nee.

Here are a couple pages from the list. Apparently it is a list scanned in as pdf and it is a pain to extract. He does have a 09-S VDB, but.... Most of the "errors" I see are scratched, cleaned, etc. I would not think of paying $40,000 for it unless I am missing something

Sorry about the erratic link. It works for me and anybody else when my email hasn't shut down for inactivity. I just tried it on rlm's cents Quote and it worked. Maybe it only works for me. Oh well.

If anyone knows how I can post this "permanently" PM me and I'll give it a try.
