    Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me if this error coin is worth anything? Can someone please tell me what it might be worth, if anything?
    Thank you.

You asked the same question twice..

Nice find! It's worth what a collector is willing to pay for it. I saw one sell for $25.00

    Thanks for sharing.

I really like that coin. Been searching and searching for it. Good find. Great doubled die. I just can't figure out how that happened. Must of been a double hit. @Rick Stachowski or is it a bad engraving job

I guess I should have looked for the doubling before I put most of my DC's back into circulation. Live and learn.

Thank you for your response. I do have one question, if I was to take and get it graded, and seeing how it has not come up, in an auction, for nearly 5 years now, do you believe that it might bring as much, if not more, than the one, that sold through Heritage auctions, in 2014?

    Nice doubling.
If what Fred Weinberg says is correct, this coin is worth getting graded.

So collectors aren't interested in this type of error coin or the market just isn't looking for one right now. Okie dokie, thanks again.

    This coin is collectible.
Errors are difficult to price, there's no set list for them.
They bring whatever someone is willing to pay, and past auction sales
are one way to figure out a price.
If what Fred Weinberg says is correct, then it is worth getting graded.

Seeing how I have been going through my dad's coin collection for valuables, in your opinion, from 1900 to present what would be the one coin that I might possibly have that would bring a five-figure Payday?
    Possibly a Proof 69 or 70, 1962 or 1963 Nickel with full steps? Or maybe, a Proof 69 or 70, 1969 or 1971 dime with full bands? Maybe a Proof 69 or 70, 1968, 69, 70, 71, 72, 80, 81, 82, or 1990 quarter? Or 1942 Nickel with D D/D Nickel? 1943 Steel Pennies, ms69 or 70?
Okay, here's my two aces in the hole.
I've got what I believe or two wartime nickels, one is 1943 the other is 1944.
I believe these two nickels or made of copper nickel and not silver nickels. I have about 40 wartime silver nickels, which all sound exactly like silver when dropped on a table, unlike hear two particular nickels I'm talking about, which just have a thud, when dropped on the table, no ping whatsoever. They sound nothing like a coin with silver in it. They actually sound more like a 1943 steel penny.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to your response.

The last one sold about a month or two ago
on Ebay, in AU condition, and I believe it
    brought about $1,000.

With all the bag marks on your piece, I'd have
    to say it's AU also.
