Oh Kripes, let's bring the 'me too movement' and 'political correctness' to cointalk.........and the fun goes out the window. Harry Truman once stated [paraphrase here] 'if ya can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen'. Harry was the guy who had to make the decision to drop the atom bomb upon Japan back in WWII. Wonder if the 'me too's' would have problems with that. Devil if I care, as he made the right decision. Point is, hard decisions must be made, and if you can't stand the heat, go visit Mommy........
All of this oversensitivity, IMO, is at least partially due to little darlings growing up without hearing: — “No.” — “You’re wrong.” — “You don’t know what you’re talking about.” — “Your way of doing it is NOT good enough.” You get the idea. I heard all of the above on a regular basis growing up and my psyche survived quite well.
And a 'Trophy' for everyone. Everyone is a 'winner'.......1st, 2nd and 3rd back in my day. Ya did't make the cut, ya got nothing..........And I didn't make the cut, but it made me stronger.
Uh-huh. And if that "heat" is someone cornering your daughter in an office, is your advice for her to "get out of the kitchen"? "Stop whining" -- like those poor kids that one Mr. Sandusky "mentored"? They should've just "gone back to Mommy", I guess. How in the world did we get to a point where people can believe that condemning assault is somehow "spoiling our fun"?

Then why do so many members " Pay attention" to such a thread ? IGNORE it and its content. Let them leave if they finally decide to do so. No one is Forced to beg anyone The same logic for "How important I am...." IGNORE! If there is NO numismatic content in the thread for you, why would a unconcerned individual read or answer it? Many of these answers seem to be to draw attention to Themselves. If you do not like the subject, poster, or direction of the thread, you have the full right to not participate, Go to Yahoo political sites and post if you wish no moderation. This forum is Numismatics and moderated.
I was told by a moderator that CDN wasn't a good way to determine coin value. He wrote it in a way that seemed polite, but you could tell underneath he was a racist. #metoo
