    Also, looks like a type-1 from the pics (although there isn't much value difference between the type-1 and type-2 when it comes to nickels)

    In both 79 and 81, the S mintmark came in two versions. These can be found on all 6 denominations. By 79, the S had become nothing more than a blob so it was replaced with a clearer mintmark. This clear Type 2 is much less common than the blob Type 1. The clear S was used in 80 and again in 81 but late in that year, it was changed to an even clearer S. So the type 2 of 79 is the same as the type 1 of 81. Just as before, the type 2 of 81 is the less common of the two.
