1986 one cent strike error ?

    It looks like a bulged die to me. It was worn out and was structurally insecure and collapsing. Anyone else?

    These are especially often found in 1986 for some reason. I believe the design was strengthened in 1987 somewhat.

    I try to find a few 86's but there all or mosty jacked up. Really hard to find good one in circulation @Granbeck @Gilberto Vasquez. They all seem like gilberto's

    Check the roll prices for 1986 cents. Higher than any date near it.

    Why is that, I wonder? I read some time ago that a collector was saving any 86 philly's that he came across. So, I started picking them out while roll searching. Anything special I should for, do you think?
