I have very few Coins slabbed, None that I have slabbed myself. Unless the coin is a Rare 1909 S VDB or a 1893 S Morgan , or a 1955 Double Die Lincoln Cent in which you are trying to protect your investment, I leave the coin raw and put it in a coin flip or something to protect it ....

Agreed. I just found my tubes of POGS. Need to go through them again. I have Iron Man and Captain America looking back at me from the top of the tubes :)

NICE ... Those Superheroes were a hit ... They were very difficult to find when they first came out ....

To Jwt708 - I like your idea concerning uncirculated POGS. How would a person know if a sharp looking POG came right out of an trey or not. I try to keep my POGS clean from scratches or becoming bent.
I’m the only person I know of that collected POGS until I ran across this website. I was happy to find others who had this interest.
I’m trying to complete my collection of AAFES POGS (series or printing 1 - 15). I have every pog except one from printing 6. I missing a 10 cent pog listed 6M101. The front picture shows a soldier in sunglasses walking toward you with an M-16. It also has the subtitles “Operation Enduring Freedom.” I have numerous other pogs in my collection to help other collectors complete their collections.
Below is the one Pog I am missing.

Welcome @Abnbuddy. I wish I could help you with your collection. I managed to snag quite a few for @Jwt708 when I was last deployed.

@armysgti Maybe you can help out @Abnbuddy ? Keep in mind guys offers to buy/sell/trade are not to be done in the open forum, but in the proper sub-forum or privately...we don't want to run into trouble with the law! :D I lost my old catalog of POGs so I don't even know what I have!

Mine are all sitting in some ASE tubes. I tried scanning them all onto my computer so I could add them to my excel sheet but it didn't work out well so I kinda gave up. Some day I will get them cataloged...

When I first started collecting pogs, AAFES had a web site that cataloged the pogs. I recently checked the site, and it is no longer up. I printed out the catalog and placed then in document protectors and put in a binder. I have all printings 1 - 15. If you want me to make copies of them for you, I can do that for you.

On another site, I read that AAFES is coming out with a 16th Series/Printing. I don’t know if this is true, but I would love to know more info on this and how to obtain them.
    Thanks

The site that you are referring to that is no longer there was run by collector Doug Bell not AAFES.

It's too bad that site went down, it was a great reference. Some of the content can be found using the WAYBAK (spelling) machine. Just another reminder that all things on the internet are ephemeral and can disappear at any time. I've started using "Print to PDF" for websites that are interesting in order to reference the material later.

I have also heard a rumor that a new printing of POGs is underway.

    6M10
Good morning ! 6M101 is W with OEF and W/O OEF two different pogs .. Probably the 2 hardest pogs to find and if you do, you will find out they are pricey.

Lemme check through my stacks. I really only kept one of each when I was over there. I have a few doubles of things but I'm not sure.

Thanks for looking for pog 6M101 for me. I've been looking for 10 years for that pog. I've spoke with a fellow soldier around 2010 while he was still stationed in Iraq saying he also had every pog except that one. He said 6M101 must be the "Holy Grail of Pogs."
    Thanks,
    Lloyd

Sadly POGs have not been a major collecting focus of mine, as well as MPCs. I ought to put more effort into it.
