Found these in a roll of cents. I am wondering if the German coins are supposed to have a rotated die on the reverse or if they are the same on both sides? fullsizeoutput_d2c.jpeg fullsizeoutput_d2d.jpeg

$300 CWR halves from 1 bank yielded 1 NIFC. I dislike picking up dumps!

Oh well, part of the game.

I'm thinking the summer doldrums have started to infect my roll searching. Finished up a box of cents this morning and only came away with 9 wheaties, 3 from the 40's and the rest from the 50's. Nothing earth-shattering. Did find a 51 which was the first from that particular date (I keep a spreadsheet of everything found). The highlight from the box was a beautiful 1981 cent that has spent the last 37 years well protected as it looks as if it just came off the press (with only one tiny carbon spot on the obverse) and has some beautiful irridescent goldish toning on the obverse just starting to creep in from the rim. Not worth anything but still going in a 2x2.

New to CRH and love doing it! I found this 1997P a month ago and cannot find anything related to it. The pictures do not show how silver/reflective the coin is, which is why I have another half dollar beside to compare. It has some redness on the obverse. Anyone have any thoughts and thank you in advance.

Attractive and a nice token but not of coin-collecting value

$500 box of halves yielded at least $200 worth of coins with pink fingernail polish on them (again, ugh), and 1 NIFC. I kept the NIFC, and will gladly redeposit the rest!

I hope the finger nail polish dope isn’t marking NIFCs!

$60 of MRW nicels gave me 9 common pre-60's and a 1943-P nickel.

The person using the bright pink nail polish is apparently marking every coin they search including NIFCs...Even 1, '87D! I would like to let them know I do not appreciate their approach. I am truly disgusted by it.

Honestly, if someone wants to know how quickly they are re-searching the same coins, then they should simply mark the obverse or reverse with the month/year using a sharpie marker, but PLEASE DO NOT DESTROY ALL THE COINS BY MARKING THEM WITH PAINT!

The red sharpie bandit was back at it in my last weeks search, but not as destructive as the Pink Nail Polish culprit. Tar and feathering if caught sounds like an appropriate punishment!

What’s the worst damage that half dollar roll searchers do to their rejects? I hope this doesn’t give them ideas.

Made my rounds at 5 separate banks today. Came away with 3 ikes and 1 half. Nothing good out of them. But I usually keep the ikes.
