This nickle has a defect in the U of the word trust. Wondering if it may be worth something. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
If you are thinking that it was a Doubled Die then double stamping is incorrect. Doubled Dies does not mean double stamped.. it's doubling on the Die itself. Your nickel is all damage.
Have people actually gone their entire lives, without ever looking at a coin? And then the first time they do, it's a valuable error? (I am not making fun of the OP, they all seem to do this.)
@yoshu ...you just joined today. I was going to offer you some advice, but you just insulted a member with your "have lives" comment. Do you really think you will get help by insulting us? Spark
I mentioned that I wasn't singling this person out. It's just that there is an over abundance of threads that don't need to be posted if someone just ever looked at a coin before today.
The post by Michael insulted me. I just asked a simple question and Michael attacked me. Not sure why he was so insulting. I thought this was a place for advise not attacks.
Yet, he took it wrong anyway. He needs to be able to know the difference between general discussion and personal attack...Spark
Grow a thicker skin and don't be such a baby. Anyone with a bit of common sense can tell your coin is just a damaged coin. You deserve to be mocked.
