    Can any one please tell me what the date on this is suppose to be? It weighs 3.1 and looks like Denver minted 19_2

    It doesn't look like a "7" though. It look so like a V with a smeared loop to the left side. Or an N.... It's driving me crazy lol

    The only possibilities are 6, 7, or 8 (large date).
    Looks most like a 7 given the three options.

    The smaller head began in 1969, so '72 is the logical choice. '82 looks different.

    It look like a 1972 D. It has a really rough life during it time, also took a strong hit. ED.
