Yes. The one I had was wrong. Not worth anything but a couple dollars, if that. The 1988 also has the strong strike that the 1989 is supposed to have.

 

I know about the 88 with reverse of 89, but you had a 1989 with the reverse of a 1988.

Hold on! I' new here but I'm confused here as well. Did you find a 1989 cent with a 1988 reverse or not? I'm asking because I think I have one too. Im' going to try and get a pic of it to send here but my camera isn't the best

 

Yes. It was a 1989 with the weak strike 1988 reverse G. The 1989 with the 1988 weak strike G is not really anything. There is still a debate about whether or not they want to consider it as an error coin. But, the 1988 with the strong strike of the G in the 1989 is considered an error. That one is worth something. I don't think a whole lot, but still good for a collection.

 

Thats pretty cool. Kinda counterdics that 88 with 89 reverse. This is???? One crazy hobby Super catch. After looking at FG's for so long. It's kinda refreshing

This is the 1989 with the 1988 reverse. I do have a 1988 with the 1989 reverse though.
