image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Saw a video online of one of these exact same coins. Whoever put this set together crafted a 1816 American Silver Eagle. (Facepalm)
I know these are fakes from incorrect fonts, wrong dates and Rotated reverses. But are they real silver? Thoughts and comments requested. And I didn’t buy these. My friend asked about them.

I highly doubt it’s silver, only way of knowing would be an acid test or X-ray gun.

Most assuredly, base metal. I doubt any value more than curiosity sake........

None of the coins pictures have the look of a silver coin.

Surely devoid of any silver content, they look like your typical Chinese-made "reproductions" that I used to see offered a lot on eBay back in around 2007. However controversial they may be, those with incorrect dates are technically fantasy pieces.

Maybe to people who know better. But if they are trying to sell them as genuine, then they are counterfeits.

Those things only belong in a fireplace or a trash can.

Well, my friend is a trucker and this was back in 2009,he was filling up at a truck stop, and a guy comes up trying to sell these "genuine silver dollars" for $25 dollars per album page. And with my friend knowing nothing of coins at the time said sure and bought them.:banghead:
