My original post on here was a while ago but I've been readin the thread. I've seen some ridiculous posts and some very insightful.

I'm still sticking to my guns. If this happened as posted then move on basically. No need to picket, harass at shows etc. That's just silly. Do you do this at McDonalds if your burger isn't right?

I've seen some "dealers" make real good points and those that CoinGal07 pointed out are very valid.

I don't know this shop and doubt I ever will but as consumers we have choices. Simplest being if you don't like the establishment then don't go there. How tough IS that decision?

    Thanks Roto,

You're driving my point home here.

You would talk to the manager if this happened to YOU personally. Understandable.

We on CT are reading what someone posted and I'm not saying I don't believe him but I also don't have the luxury of having been there when it happened. This is his problem and he needs to take care of it himself.

If you PM me and tell me that you went to the infamous Dick's Den in Columbus (sorry couldn't resist) and they served you a rancid beer I wouldn't be high tailing it to Ohio to stick up for you. I'd say go to Bernie's Bagels or the Outer Inn. Always liked them better anyway.

Now that's an analogy that only we probably understand. :)

Wow. So I'm lying now because I explained I was going on vacation and couldn't answer? Maybe you should read ALL my posts on CU, because I clearly explained that i might not have internet access for a while. So you an stop accusing me of lying. Everything that i said has been true.

No, you are not telling the truth. A partial true statement will not suffice.

You were banned from buying at the coin store even before you went back and tried to buy again. You seem to have a habit of spending a lot of a dealers time looking at coins, telling the owner what's wrong with each one, and then not even buying anything. You wouldn't last very long at any coin store doing this stuff.

Mods i think this should move to the non coin section part of CT if its going to become a thread where 2 members argue about their experience at coin shop. i dont see how this relates to coins anymore . just my 2 cents

It was never coin related to begin with. Just a young kid that made his presence unwanted at a coin shop and wanted to round up a posse of unsuspecting people to help him harass the coin shop owner.

    Just my 2 cents.

I don't know what to think now......being a longtime collector and presently a dealer, I would like to know the dealer's side of the store relating to past issues.

Read the article in the Collectors Universe - if you have the time. It is nearly a book. And it is composed mostly of ksteelheader quotes and rants. I cannot prove anything, but it seems strange that a MAJOR poster over there would follow a "kid" (his term) over here just to harass him.

While I'm sure some people would get peeved over that kind of activity, it wouldn't bother me unless it was in front of other customers.

I would be rather happy to see a YN try to examine coins and find faults.
In my opinion, it would be a dealers responsability to back up his grade of a coin.
    That is business, period.
Now, if it was a weekly thing, I could understand banning someone from the store.
Also, if someone didn't buy anything within 2-3 visits, I could see not devoting any of my time to them either.

Maybe because I have a thing against liars.

It took you that long to question my sanity?

Most likely but insanity is the only thing that keeps me sane.

Wanna know what's really scary? Roto understands the little analogy I made so what does that make him? :D

The thread is closed, it serves no purpose to continue discussion.

And ksteelheader, you are more than welcome here, but perhaps you should be aware that unlike other forums, we do not allow name calling here.
