I was going through my panties and found this 1974 Lincoln cent it's really rainbow colored and it has a green spot on the reverse on the right next to the of on the rim is there anyway I can get that off this coin is unbelievably clean without that on it
There is indeed a bit of color there, and nice luster, but the green spot is unfortunately some cause for concern. You could try acetone, but I'm not sure if that would do any good. For an easy and harmless fix with readily available materials, you could work on the spot with a toothpick or bamboo skewer - some kind of pointed wooden tool that's made of a material hard enough to work at the crud without being hard enough to scratch the coin (as a metal tool would). I would use some mineral oil or Vaseline, too, then wipe the coin clean with a paper towel or soft cloth, but not hard enough to polish it and disturb the original color of the toning. It isn't worth very much money, of course, so it's a low-risk coin to play with. Funny, it just so happens I found an original Red BU 1974 cent in my pocket change this morning. Never thought I'd see the day when a Memorial cent would be worth saving from change, but hey, these are 44 years old now, so finding them in UNC is fun.
Forget the coin. Did I read your post correctly? You wear panties? And you found a cent in them? I don't want to know. What is the forum coming to?
