Yeah @shilines I saved your third picture, opened it in PhotoScape and just cropped it. Check that program out. BTW, that damage looks like someone using an engraving pen on too slow a speed.
Or if you don't want to pay for photoshop, GIMP2 is a great free photo editing program. Here is a picture of a coin that I took with my phone and edited in GIMP2:
That's very That's very cool and all because I do the same thing. I love photo editing. But when it comes to my coin searching and coin collecting hobby there is no time for editing. Whatever I post will always be the actual coin in hand or else I would post it. I can see how it could be done though.
This is the coin in hand. I took the pictures with my iphone6 and then cropped them with GIMP2. After I cropped them I pasted it into MSPaint and did the black paint thing. Boom. Done. Maybe less than 5 minutes total. Makes for a much better presentation IMHO. Also, work on non-blurry photos. Look before you post. You should be able to see for yourself how blurry/crappy your photos are before posting and fix that. If you want help, you should provide the best possible pictures you can.
@shilines Emphasis on the second optional word. Yes, you should be able to check the pictures *yourself* before posting. Do not be in a hurry. Think of the extra time you *had* to spend, and all the extra postings everyone else *had* to do. If you take your time, do it right the first time I think you yourself will notice that it was not a DD. Your new pics, the 3rd was obvious what it was and what it wasn't.
