Man that stinks YOU didn't get that cross. But you still did really good. How long do you usually dig? My time is really restricted so 2 hours is really the most I can ever get in. I'd love to go out all day.

This was a long one today. I went to a bunch of spots where I didn't have much luck before. So I didn't go back to them for a long time to let them re-fill. And a few were very good and a few were OK. There were a couple busts but that happens.

Nice, thanks Mike. I usually find about the same amount of stuff. So if I went all day or at least 6 hours,I should have turn outs more like yours. my wife is very sick so I just have to do what I can for now and be thankful for what I do get lol. Happy Hunting, and the best of luck to you sir:happy:.

Most of the ones I do are 3 or 4 hours. This one was long partially because of travel and was 6 hours.
Ooh I finally got my 82 small date zinc to complete my 7 coin 82 set. It's not in great shape, so I will upgrade when I can but this was the 1 I was missing.
A 59-D nickel in nice shape. Not valuable but from the 50's I'll hold it.

Yeah I wasn't happy. But I couldn't have gotten to that place earlier cause I had all my sites lined up to not waste time and mileage driving around. And that spot was in the middle geographically.

I hate when that happens, you have it planned out and somebody gets there first and finds a gold ring or something.

When I pulled this chain, I just figured it was stainless steel. But when I got home my loupe said it was 925. I still didn't believe it so I looked up the hallmark and the company and it came back good. 58.4 grams. Under some wood chips by some exercise equipment. Who would wear such a garish thing, and how could you not know when it has fallen off you? It wasn't buried so it was a relatively recent drop.
I have had some good success in working class areas, and not such good luck in affluent areas. Just food for thought.

The spots I hit today have always been good. And it's the only part of the rotation where I never got a silver and/or a dollar coin. Got them on consecutive signals. And, I rescued a dog.

Myrtle Beach at Dunes Village. It was a family vacation so i didn't spend much time looking.

I also found a wheatie with those two silvers...all right next to each other about 8 inches down.
