Sorry Willy, but your post gets garbled after "Cherry Picked". I can't understand exactly what it is you are referring to.

I need some ideas on how to go through this collection I don't have a clue when it comes to Morgan dollars Peace dollars he's got Eisenhower's old Liberties quarters dimes it's just overwhelming to me and I don't want to make a mistake we made an agreement that he would give me 20% of everything that we cash so I want to do them right I'm afraid to bring it to a coin store cuz the last time I did that with my 68 dime with no s the guy had no clue so I'm a big variety collector of Lincoln cents but I have no ideas on Morgan's and things like that excetera any suggestions

Hopefully your friend will have some patience with you. Tell him you need to take your time to do this correctly. I'm not very good on Morgan & Peace varieties (VAM's) but there are those here that are. So use this to your advantage with some nice clear, cropped photos. Maybe someone here can lead you to some good sites on the dimes and quarters also. But patience is really the key with this.

@Willysilver He's your friend and he came to you for help. Let him know how you feel. Reassure him you will do all you can. Talk to him about the collection and work together, as friends, to see this to a just means for your friendship is worth far more than the collection.

I'll be frank, you are not qualified to do this for a fee. You almost certainly will make a lot of mistakes, so if your concern is doing right by him then tell him you can't do the collection justice. Counsel him to get professional help.

Did you read what I wrote professionals around here where I live know nothing about error coins that use the gray sheet and that's all they look at they're not really up on the new die varieties or die varieties that had existed in the past only the Cherry Pickers guide I got a 1968 no s proof to Silver Queen Coin and Jewelry that supposed to be professionals if I hadn't brought it there but still have it today

Find a coin that you think is interesting. Have him post it and teach him how to help himself. God knows i need that in SPADES. Get him rolling with coin talk and get yourself a morgan link and go thru a few coins together. This will be fun for all of us

Do you have a picture of the 68 proof? Again, I'll be frank, it's very difficult to understand what you write because you don't use punctuation.

Maybe you should let him photo the coin. I in all respects agree with @beef1020

That doesn't change the fact that you're not qualified to do this, especially at 20%. Please understand that I'm not trying to be mean here, but I've seen what happens when someone who doesn't know what they're doing takes on such a responsibility. Let's just say it rarely ends well for either party, and often will only get worse once the collection's owner comes to realize their mistake.

Particularly is this is truly the grandfather of your friend, I urge you to reconsider.

Willy, you should not be doing this. Find someone that knows what they are doing.
