Who is they? Never heard about tootsie roll in Numismatics Why did you post 2 threads on same question?
you know .. "them" They can be really deceiving when "they" talk about coins and chocolate. So be weary of showing "them" your coins as "they" will also want to steal your chocolate or especially tootsie rolls if "you" have them. another one of those posts that lacks any sense of clarity except in the mind of the poster. @ericgrimm Rather than mull about something in your head an spew out a question based upon what you are thinking, be more specific to the people that are not engaged in your thinking. thanks
They mean the letters and numbers are as big as Tootsie Rolls. Just say you have a large 7, they say it's a TR7 (Tootsie Roll size 7).
Huh? That is the broadest sentence I have ever read. Who's they? Which letters are you talking about? Who relates letters to tootsie rolls....?
Lol ok wow my bad about the 2 post and when I say they I mean what I read on the internet and the books I have just thought you guy's could explain it better that's all really did not think it would be that big of a deal..... in some of the book's I have it says very thick letters ?? And one of the sentences says ( with a little practice and a magnification you will notice the " Tootsie -Roll" flattening of dates and letters ..... wow
First, please don't be put off by the joking. It is good natured. Welcome to CT. The term "tootsie roll" that you are asking about is not a commonly used term among serious and semi-serious collectors. We could guess about it though. I first thought wide and rounded like a tootsie roll, but when you mention the "flattening", I thought it might refer to how a tootsie roll gets flattened out with a little pressure. Do you collect? What? Pictures?
