I debated pretty hard on whether to go 64 or 65 on the 1886. First impression was 65, but I backed off for some reason. Maybe the other's comments. Both good lookers whatever the grade.
Are we looking at regrade numbers, if so 65 with * and the other stay's 63 with * unless the last one is darker then the photo.
I used natural light on 2nd coin reverse- 83o. Its not at all darker in-hand. I didnt edit the photo, other than cropping, which im obviously no Andy Warhol
Wasn’t copying I can grade coins. I find their star designation very arbitrary though. I’d probably not give either the star myself
I dont think they are very scientific about the designation. Ive seen better that didnt get the star. Ive also seen coins w it, that NGC needs a mulligan on.
