Nope, worth 1 cent. Looks different because of damage.

Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

It's a good thing LMC's can't really de-valuate less than the 1 cent they're worth because that just might be one. It's had a rough life and is a spender.

Not an error. It looks like it's been plated after it left the mint

If it feels lighter than other cents, it's probably because those holes have allowed the zinc to start corroding away from the inside. That happens a lot with the copper-coated zinc cents (post-1982).

Welcome! Doesn't look like it, but if you're not sure, just keep it and take it to a coin dealer next time you are near one.

Please keep in mind that "dealer" and "expert" (or even "knowledgeable") are not necessarily synonymous. Also, not everyone here is and/or was a collector. You may be surprised... ;)

Ironically, I'm pretty sure my LCS would just throw that out for you.

I told him he could always take it to a dealer, because after he was given a few good solid pieces of advice, He, obviously, still felt that he felt there may be something special about it. And I'm quite sure he's figured out for himself that not everyone here is an expert. Including myself. What is he supposed to do? Take the last few comments to heart? The first two? I would be confused and a little dubious too. At least if he takes it to a dealer, he will know that the person giving him advice at least "more than likely" knows what he's talking about.

What was the point of asking on this website if the response was going to be ignored from the start?
