It weights 3.0 and it is b,bb. It weights 3.o g and is 13 millimeters across and the thickness is about a millimeter I think is just a flat Lincoln cent because I can see what resembles the Lincoln memorial on one side
Besides World Coin Gallery, try going to NGCcoin.com, select "resources", then "price guides", then World Coin Price Guide, if you didn't already know. Spend some time learning the site, it will help you for all non-US coins like the ones you posted. It's okay to get excited over your finds, we have all been there. But for CT members to give you the best advice, you must do your due diligence and do a little research, you must learn how to post pictures clearly, full-size and in focus, and you must not take things personally. Hope this helps, good luck...Spark
Bud and I do not think you are lazy..We think you are a nice lady looking for help. <-Bud likes your posts.
Thank you and will be getting a magnifier to help and finally learned yesterday how to post bigger pictures and again thank you
13 mm is way too small to be a lincoln cent. A cent is 19 mm and if it was cut down to 13 mm it would lose a lot more weight than .1 grams.
Well I don't know what it is I can see lines on one side that looks like the bars on a cellphone on the signal strength I just assumed it was the Lincoln memorial I know I am clueless on this one
To me, all coins are cool. I find researching foreign coins to be a fun and relaxing way to stay interested in collecting for a fraction of the price of U.S. Keep posting. Some of us love seeing what people find no matter the value or rarity.
You have seen how delightful some of our members are. Please take this away from your exchange with them. Ignorance can be corrected with study. There is no such thing as a personality transplant. Anonymity brings out the worst in some people. On the positive side you have already demonstrated an ability to post pics. I've been here a long time and don't know how to do that yet. When I decide that I need to I will buy the equipment that I need and hire geek squad to teach me. In the mean time I have all of the world coin catalogs, lots of time and plenty of patience to tide me over. Please don't leave. We need more kind people with fresh outlooks to balance the curmudgeons.
Thank you for the kind words it means a lot. I'm stuck on one of my coins right now on trying to figure out what it is someone elsebcalled it a slug.
If you don't have a copy of the Krause World Coin Catalog, go to your local library and see if one is there. It has a coin identifier area, as well as pictures of each coin type under countries. If you can't identify a coin by country, you can also look up by denomination and see all of the countries that issued that denomination. "Dollar" is issued by many countries, as well as many others, so it may take a little time. With some practice, you will be answering questions on here. It just takes time and patience.
Mine has no markings its copper and I can see silver color shinning threw weights 3 grams and is 24 millimeters across and about 1 millimeter thick there are faint very faint markings on one side I think it's just a worn out Lincoln cent but I'm no expert
I Did and no they don't match also I can't capture it with my phone but there is also a sail like shape about where the lines are
