Please dont roast me this time lol but need an expert opinion on this coin. Did they restrike a '92 close AM to make it a '94
There's no reason to restrike modern zinc cents. So you are saying the reverse of this 1994 looks like a 1992? Let me look at the AM list: 1. 1992 Close AM - extremely rare 2. 1992-D Close AM 3. 1998 S Close AM 4. 1999 S Close AM 5. 1999 Wide AM 6. 1998 Wide AM 7. 2000 Wide AM - least rare It doesn't look like there are any varieties on the AM for 1994.

It doesn't look like it is just 1994. Looks like it was a small 2 the struck with a 4... But I also see 5 in cheeks too lol
Ok thanks.. Thought maybe restruck some of the 1992 they were test striking the 93 dies on.. Couldnt find anything on it so I bit the bullet and asked here. Thanks again
You're seeing things. Please don't believe the online hype in finding a rare Penny worth $$$$. I believe you are actively searching for things that don't (or can't) exist.
I didnt see this online... I was looking at coins and the 4 looked funny, so I had to ask the experts about it
The mint did not restrike 92' cents in 94'. All the information is in the links provided. But, that would mean you need to actually read them. HUH?
Well buddy, if you read any of my post, you would know, I tried to find something on it before I made this post. No need for smart ass comments
I have read your posts, this thread and just about all your previous. So lets start here. You got all the answers you needed, not to mention references by post #10. and after 9 more posts you are still trying to claim that you have something miraculous. A 94' struck with 92' dies. I am sure that if you went and looked at all the other 94' Lincoln cents, you would see that this is the way they are. A close AM. Nothing special! Here is one more. All it takes is a little reading and using your references. http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/Memorial Reverse Design Varieties.htm
