Old lincoln cents double struck

    That has to be one of the coolest pennies. I wonder how it was originally found. I mean, how does it even make it out of the mint? It doesnt seem to look like it would fit in a roll.

    In 1911.. Probably by a Mint employee.. It was a different place back then. I have read about Mint management keeping errors as personal collections. Then it would pass from them to others like family or freinds.

    Double struck are common errors on coins , i don't think you need mint employee to do that , in early mint management are easy to keeping those error , but when times pass many those are lost or damage.
