Who would post something like this on the internet? It just blows me away what some people will put out there...... http://www.coinsite.com/content/origcoindoc/p0000080.htm
Tone 'em put 'em in your own slabs and viola! You're a millionaire with no scruples whatsoever. Disgusting in a word.
Those are widely know AT methods for beginners and for the most part will produce results that would be easy to tell is AT or would not be worth a big or any monetary premium.
Still, whats about the novice collector? Any person could use this info and take it straight to ebay.
lol, sorry for the ignorance, but what does DDOS mean? And Hontonai, that site was fairly easy to find on its own, it was one of the search results i got when i typed in "coin guides".
Read his quotes, it should explain a thing or two about his personality! I blame it on the anonimity provided by the internet. http://www.coinsite.com/content/origcoindoc/p0000090.htm
This entire webpage is available in print. Many of you already have it. It is in Scott Travers book, The coin collectors survival manual.
DDoS == "Distributed Denial of Service". Courtesy of Wikipedia: "A distributed denial of service attack (DDoS) occurs when multiple compromised systems flood the bandwidth or resources of a targeted system, usually one or more web servers. These systems are compromised by attackers using a variety of methods." And if that site you posted was easy to find in search results, "DDOS" would have been just as easy, if not easier
Actually, I'm glad he posted it. I am deeply suspicious of toned coins, especially those with fat premiums. Thanks, Cody !
