I’m going to try to buy these 3 very nice Black Eagles if possible. Any thoughts on values would be greatly appreciated!

Here are the reverse photos in the same order. Any help with values would be greatly appreciated.

Solid $100 to $150 notes depending on condition (pinholes, etc., extra folds not visible in the photos). I like them though, quality collectible examples.

@MEC2 might be being a little conservative on those? Very nice examples!

Thank you MEC2. Is there a reliable price guide for 1899s? I know it gets complicated because of the combinations of signatures, serial numbers, stars, condition, etc. I would grade all three XF from the pics. But, they could be a little better or a little worse in hand.

I suspect they are high VF based on fold count I see but hard to say in photos, regardless they are raw, so they won't draw a premium, if you grade them out and they come back PPQ/EPQ/WTFQ/LGBTQ you can likely add another $50. I really like the Vernon-Treat, it talks to me... but beware, pinholes or things unseen in the photos can knock them down. Black Eagles are positively everywhere, so people can get picky...

It’s almost impossible to grade a note from a photo of it lying flat.

All look really good , based on a quick look and comparing those to my collection
And the guide lines those notes would be in VF-35 range, an XF grade in
My opinion would be a real push, with out having the note in hand for
a closer examination, but regardless they do still have good eye appeal

I could live with VF35 on all three. Like MEC2, the V-T note is my favorite. Out of curiosity, what is the bid sell on VF35 on common 1899s like these?

One of the best ways to do this is compare what people are buying these for
Check out ebays completed listings, saw a couple a of good ones, nothing special
or exceptional signatures, were right around the $125 mark, so i think that would
Be a good place to start :)

Also dont read to much in to price guides after all there just "GUIDES"
Economy, Trends and other factors dictate price always see what there
Selling for first and see how they line up against each other a real good
way to buy and to make sure your not paying to much.
