    2016 p it looks like it was struck cuz you can see the ridges of the rim all the way thru and it has 3 layers of nickel,and copper like a clam shell it doesn't look like it was hit with something or scraped on the ground or something like that i need help with this one 20180605_135342-1.jpg 20180605_134359-1.jpg 20180605_134416-1.jpg

    Based on your pics I would have to say PMD (Post Mint Damage) how I wouldn't no but I'm sure it's not a mint error let others take a look.jmo

    It's called an edge ding. (and it's a bit bad one)

    That's damage - the coin was
    hit by something in that area.

    Not an error coin, I'm sorry to say.
