Looks like the Claudian Aqueduct, constructed during the reign of Claudius about 50 AD. It's built parallel to the main highway from one of Rome's major airfields into the city. If it is, I recall well taking the bus into the city and seeing graffiti on road signs. One of them read "Giovanni ama Maria". That age old, yet modern grafitto, along side the ancient aqueduct, into the eternal city was a wake up call that there is nothing new under the sun.
