    It's not Spanish. It looks like something from the Holy Roman Empire, or early German States. You will need to post some better pics cropped to just show the coin.

    Thanks fin I’ll try to get better pics I thought early German too or spanish and can’t find either to compare the 5 shield cross in the back isn’t matching anything and where the lion match the front shield the other two section of the front shield is so worn I can’t make that out either. So it’s my mystery grandma coin. :)

    I think it's possibly a 1 Liard of Bavaria struck under Johann Theodore between 1744-1746

    My guess: it's bishopric of Liege.
