I'm not sure what's going on with the "D" -- could be machine doubling, could be something hitting it during circulation, could be a die chip as well. Others here may recognize it if it's an actual variety. There's a pretty big error on the "4" in the date, though. Welcome to CoinTalk!
oh my gosh I was nervous for my 1st post ever! I reckon I wished it to be a '64 but it sure ain't its a 68-D as in duh. Thanks for confirming my suspicions that its a something error and does not add extra value for many.
Looks like it could be a doubled die obv. The W in we looks like it has split serifs. A close up of the moto could confirm.
It's hard to tell in the close-ups but in the last photo it looks like a die chip on the mm when I zoom in.
I thought that too, but if you enlarge the image of the whole coin the split serifs aren't there, so I suspect slight movement during the close up image of the mintmark.
