Bargain bin purchase

Hello everyone! I aquired this 1883 silver Bulgarian coin today for 2 dollars. What do you all think of it, and does it hold more value than what I paid?

It's hard for me to tell the grade with your coin in the holder. My guess is it has probably been cleaned.

NGC says 3 million minted. If not cleaned, it's high retail at $4.50 in VF-20.
(That translates to $3). Fair price.
